Right in Sunrise Beach, Hurricane Deck Elementary offers enhanced learning and community partnership through strong fine arts and physical education programs. Students in grades five and six will attend Oak Ridge Intermediate where they experience a “team” approach to learning, encouraging a collaborative environment for students and staff alike. Sunrise Beach seventh and eighth graders attend Camdenton Middle School, which builds upon a tradition of excellence in academics, athletics and extracurricular activities. Ninth through twelfth graders from Sunrise Beach attend Camdenton High School, whose new facility opened in 2007. Camdenton High School builds on the principles of professional learning communities, which stresses the importance of learning for all members of the community.
